Short version: Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences what I recommend or how I review it.

Amazon Associates

Dead.Page is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon. Links marked with ↗ are affiliate links.

When you click one of these links and make a purchase on Amazon within 24 hours, I receive a small commission — typically 4–5% of the sale price. You pay exactly the same price you would have otherwise. The commission comes from Amazon's margin, not from you.

What this means for reviews

Affiliate links do not influence which books I review or what I say about them. I review books I have read and formed a genuine opinion about. I link to Amazon because it is the most convenient purchasing option for most readers — not because of the commission.

If I disliked a book, I say so. I have no financial incentive to inflate ratings — a dishonest recommendation that leads to a disappointed reader is worth less than no recommendation at all.

Review copies

I occasionally receive free review copies (physical books or digital ARCs) from publishers or authors. When this is the case, I disclose it clearly at the top of the relevant review. A free copy never changes my assessment — it only changes whether I paid for the book.

Other income

This site displays minimal advertising. Where display ads appear, they are served by third-party ad networks (currently none — this will be updated if ads are added). I do not accept sponsored posts, paid reviews, or payment for editorial coverage of any kind.
